I've heard that the backlit chiclet keyboard on the G51 fits into the G73 perfectly and also happens to be stiffer. Is this true? The mushy keyboard on my G73 is its Achille's heel and G51 keyboards are pretty cheap. If it makes a difference I'm all for it.

Also, how do I actually tell the physical differences between the G73 and G51 keyboards? Most of the online shops show low quality pictures that look exactly like my current keyboard.

The finish on the G73 is smooth, grey/silver, and it has a subtle sparkle in the plastic.

The G51 keyboard is matte black, not smooth. It is also stiffer in the key feel. No difference in flex.

Thanks for the info. I actually just recently met a person with a G51 that has the Nvidia GTS 360M I think. Anyway, I'm gonna try his keyboard out and then make a decision.
