So I've read all the articles about how the G51's tend to overheat and I took every precaution to make sure it didn't overheat too badly so right now I have a laptop cooler, it's raised up and there's plenty of air circulating.

Yet the second I start playing World of Warcraft or Minecraft my temperature skyrockets to about 105 degrees on my GPU. Right now I'm idling at around 80 degrees which is extremely high....Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this or at least make the temperatures lower? I'm still under warranty so I guess I could send it in if it happens to be something directly wrong with the laptop but I'd would love to not have to do that.

    Any ideas?

Have you cleaned your fan and vent area (can of compressed air)?

Yup, and that didn't really help. It lowered it maybe one or two degrees?

The signs point to thermal paste/pads breaking down then. You should send it in for a repaste due to overheating, if you are still under warranty. Otherwise you can do it yourself in about 20 minutes but you have to break warranty stickers.
