Im having the same issue a lot of you are having with the headphone jack being broke. I changed that registry entry ForceDisableJD to 01 which forces all speakers on, but that also buggers up my onboard mic. I assume that 01 also forces the line in to turn on as if there was also a microphone plugged in which disables the onboard mic. Is there a similar registry setting to force the onboard mic to stay on?

Yeah, I could warranty it, but being without a computer for a week or two is not ideal. If I can get away with a registry fix, that will be OK with me
