So I upgrade my G51vx-A1 from the standard 4gb of memory to 8GB (G.Skill F2-6400CL6D-8GBSQ). However, it's only running at an FSB of 667, instead of 800. The PM45 chipset specsheet claims to handle the memory properly...

Are there other 8GB users out there running at 800 fsb?? If so, what brand/model of memory?

They are two identical sodimms, both of them are running at 667.
To clarify, I am replacing 2x2GB with 2x4GB, no mixing of memory. Both pairs of memory are both specced for DDR2 PC6400 (800mhz)

configure your latencies in BIOS if you are certain that the RAM actually supports it
