    Hi,

I recently replaced the thermal pads on my G51VX-RX05 completely, and it lowered both my idle CPU and GPU temperature by a lot.

Right now, my cpu temps sit at around 40 degrees while my GPU sits at around 55 degrees.

I have my gpu underclocked to the lowest I can get it in NVidia control panel

The problem is, when my GPU is below 50 degrees, the fan doesn't spin at all, so it builds up heat, till it hits ~60-62 degrees then the fan kicks in at maximum for a while dropping my temperature till 49 degrees, then the fan stops spinning and the cycle continues.
(in the meanwhile my cpu temps cycles between 42 and 37 degrees)

When i'm in a public area, the noise from the laptop at 100% fan speed is a bit unbearable to others near me.

Before my operation, my cpu would idle at around 65, and gpu at 60-70(maximum underclocked), and the fan would be very quiet until my cpu hits 70-75 degrees, and max speed at around 80...

What could be causing this? and how do I fix it?
