So I've got a notebook here that still does a decent running of RE6 on max settings (without vertical sync) in 1080p with a nice overclock to top out the FPS.
I love this laptop it got me from college times years ago till now getting my light gaming habit its fix.

    My issue is this:

When I plug in my laptop it shows its on the charger. When I insert my battery it shows its on the battery and gets stuck on whatever percentage it is on. It shows no sign of charging and the laptop actually believes its on the battery. It shows in the P4GH that its on battery profile, and the battery neither charges or discharges EVER. I've tried the windows acpi device manager uninstall, I've tried disconnecting everything, I've even went and done a fresh install of windows 7 formatting my C: drive from scratch. Any ideas what`s causing this? It's a huge inconvenience because I don't want this battery life to be terrible from a long period of the low charge fo 5% which its stuck on, also I wish I could get it to work on battery since it was working fine when I bought a new one. When I was messing with the voltages for my GPU this started after I undervolted it a tad too much to handle the 1080p. Everything seems to be working fine which I feel lucky for and I can use the laptop while its on the charger, but I went and wasted almost $80 on a battery for practically no reason now!

Did you try a power cycle/EC reset? You mentioned that you disconnected everything, so I gather you did.
