    Hey there peeps !

Got my brand new G53 four days ago, but alas quickly ran into a quite bothersome issue.

When playing a game, sound effects and music pop, crackle and even stutter.
The worst happens on Starcraft 2, where the game keeps hanging every few seconds or so, for about a second, with sound effects and music stuck on a loop. The only thing that moves is the cursor.

The DPC latency utility shows a pretty nasty state of affairs :

This is with the computer right of the box.

I tried making a fresh install of windows 7, and the spikes still happen. (both right on the first boot and after installing up-to-date drivers.)

Do you have any idea of which drivers would cause that kind of trouble ?
Or worse, could it be a hardware issue ? (I need this computer right now, sending it back would be a pain in the usb port...)

Any G53 users here ? How's yours doing in games ?
