    G53, Replaced card reader unit but cant get it to work.

    Hey all.

    So i have a g53J and the usb's that are part of the card reader unit on the left side started acting up.
    Found a brand new unit from a g53sx which looked identical to the current one in the laptop but now cant get the card reader to work.

    tried the jh driver and sx driver. the card reader just isnt detected and does nothing when i put an sd card in.

    The USB ports on the unit do work perfectly though.

    does anyone have any idea whats wrong?
