I have a G53jw with a display plugged into the VGA and the HDMI. The Displays are both Samsung Syncmasters models SA550 and P2770HD. The SA550 is plugged in via VGA. The problem is the video is noise ridden and I've done a lot of troubleshooting to fix this, please read the list at the end of this post of things I've tried.

It worked twice perfectly on the laptop for about 2-5 minutes after boot.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Here are a couple photos I've taken, you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

The waves move side to side and are monochrome.

Thing's I've tried, please read this before replying:

    Unplugged the laptop
    Used a new VGA cable
Tried a new monitor, same noise on other monitor
Unplugged every device in my room with a 3 prong connector (though my circuit might extend elsewhere)
Using a new surge protector with 75db of noise protection on monitor and laptop power supply
Plugged desktop into monitor Via VGA which worked perfectly without noise
Unplugged everything from the laptop except VGA cable
    Updated Video Drivers
Changed video resolution and refresh rate
    Changed laptop power settings
    Prayed to the VGA gods
