This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     G53Jw still on pre-order?

    Wasn't it released in september or something? When I was customizing this on XoticPc.com, it still said it was a pre-order?

    At this time with the large number of orders that have been placed for the G53 we have kept its status at "Pre Order." The reasoning behind this, while the machine has been released, is so that we can full fill all of the orders that were placed well before the machine came out. Once each and every one of the pre orders is taken care of, the laptop will be placed into normal status and availability will be solely based on stock levels. Of course we may be able to get those pre orders taken care of sooner than later :)

    flubadoo, there are many people who ordered their machine back in september who still has not received their machine yet.
    Xoticpc is a very good and reputable reseller and you should get your machine soon as I read on their forums that they have allocated a huge shipment soon.

    Oh, cool, because I don't know if it's possible before December 6th though... Because I NEED it before december 6-10, and if I can't get it before that time, I have to spend $500 shipping internationally.

    I don't think any of the laptop resellers would be able to get you a G53 by Dec. 6 if you haven't already ordered one. If you need it that fast, your best bet would be to try and get it from Amazon, Newegg, B&H Photo, Tiger Direct, etc. Of course, you will be limited to stock models if you go that route and would have to provide your own upgrades.

    I could be wrong though. Try contacting them and see what they say. Good luck!
