This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just did the fresh install of Windows as per Sarge's thread. Finally got everything working great and now copying things over from my Ext USB 3.0 WD hdd, I'm only getting 45-50mb/second speed. Is this average?
    Got the latest usb3.0 driver installed too. :confused:

    Yo euan try this, it might help your problem:

    Remote Differential Compression measures the changes in files over a network to transfer deltas with minimal bandwidth rather than transferring an entire file that has previously been moved. Because it constantly checks for file changes, this service can hinder system performance.

    To disable this service:

    Open Control Panel
    Switch to Classic View
    Select Program Features
    Choose Turn Windows features on and off
    Scroll down and uncheck Remote Differential Compression

    After unchecking try to download or copy files again.
