Will I lose my bluetooth function if I change my wireless card to a Intel 6300? I currently have the Atheros AR9002WB-1NG wireless card that came with my G53SW system. If I do, then I should go with an Intel 6230.

They are completely separate, you'll have no issues upgrading your wireless card.

    Weird...mine wasn't separate.
I have replaced myself the stock card (azurewave) with an INtel 6230 on my G53SW-A1.

The Atheros wireless card came with G53SW is a wifi + bluetooth combo card. so if you upgrade to any wireless card without bluetooth you will lose bluetooth capability.

There are sometimes different wifi cards in the same Asus models, so you should always check wether you card has integrated bluetooth or not. The Qualcomm website states that your card has bluetooth: Qualcomm Atheros :: Technology :: WLAN :: AR9002WB-1NGCD
Therefore, if you want to replace it, you should go for the "Intel WiFi 6230".
