    G53SW 770M Upgrade Success

    Today I finally finished my upgrade on my 15.6 inch G53SW. I replaced the 460m with a 770m from an Alienware. I used the heatsink from a G73JH and after some dremeling was able to fit i into the casing.

    After some modification of drivers .inf files I was able to use the latest drivers from nvidia.

    did you have to mod the vbios on the video card ?

    i assume he flashed the Asus's vbios over his Dell's vbios and btw congratulations ! :D

    Hey Jon, I'm not sure if you're paying much attention to this forum anymore, but I'm trying to do the same thing, and am wondering how you secured the new video card to the motherboard? The screw holes totally don't align. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
