hi all: i'm a happy user of a previuosly owned ASUS G53SW that's really really a beast for gaming (especially the sweet GTX 460M with its unbelivable overclocking possibilities!)
anyway i recently noticed some issues relating to keyboard skipping keys when i type fast; it's like not striking keys and only affects fast typing, when i type slow it doesn't happen, so i didn't noticed at start.
it's driving me mad, because i have to double check everything, and i was thinking to be crazy until i read other users had the same problem.
another issue appeared some week ago for the touchpad: it doesn't work well and i have to double/triple touch to make it recognize, or to move cursor i have to release finger and touch again, because it's like deactivatng/sleeping, simply not working or sometimes wrongly recognizing double finger touch, all randomly...
i already uninstalled/removed and then reinstalled updated ATK package and Synaptic device drivers (with default options) witouth any success; i have the 203 BIOS i set with optimized defaults options, i tried to check in hardware if there was an option regarding sleeping device option too, but no way though.
any help would be truly appreciated, i just hope it's not a hardware issue

I know this is a day late and a dollar short, but to remedy the issue, disable multi touch gestures, 3 finger swipes, etc. I done this and don't have the issue with general use.

Lol, yes this is a bit late for an answer, but I suppose it is an answer and maybe someone else has the same issue.
