Is it possible to run SSD in SATA 3 using RST drivers?
My notebook doesnt work if I use windows AHCI default driver or Intel chipset driver. Using with RST works fine, but I'm locked in SATA 2.
Thanks

The 2 HDD bay SATA ports are SATA 3 ports. What drives are you using?

Intel RST, with windows default and intel chipset driver I could not even install windows. My SSD stops to respond when writing.
That is my problem...

I dont know if its because another drives is plugged, or I just had plugged out the driver, but when I have my case open the driver works, if I close then open again the driver still no work until I plug it off.
With my case closed, Intel RST is the only driver to work. The another freeze my computer (no BSOD) and take a looooong time to write. If take the driver out I cannot even reinstall Intel RST.
Chastity, did you see any problems like this in asus?
Aparently just me and more 3 user have that. I hope for a new bios for G53SW or the new firmware for SSD (released today 2.13) will solve this because I am tired to open my case until the plastic locks get broken. -
The problems still to me after update SSD firmware.
Here is my ATTO now with intel RST:
Take a look in 0.5 and 1.0, when the driver took a long time to write. Almost freeze windows.
Also happens in 8.0 to read.
Now sometimes my ATTO perfom like that(taking a long pause to write) and sometimes I got BSOD when I try to run it.
My case: I got BSOD but this not my real problem. The problem is My SSD only works with intel RST driver, with another(windows default AHCI and intel chipset driver) windows cannot write or take a long time.
Now I running SATA II but my SSD is working except for this BSOD in ATTO.
