    G53SW and G73SW owners question

    I know that the Horizontal blue led light under the screen on the g73sw no longer lights up, what about the ASUS logo on the back of the lid of the g53sw, does it light up still? I know it lights up on G53JW, so G53sw pls confirm.

    I didnt even know the G53JW did that, thats pretty neat though. I'd rather have the logo in the back light up vs a small barely seen blue-bar under the screen light. There should be a few ppl here that have their 53SWs now, so I'm sure you'll hear an answer soon.

    Yes, on the G53SW notebook the "ASUS" logo on the back of the lid does light up - not the symbol below the letters, but the words "ASUS" in their pretty font :)

    On the G73SW, I can confirm that the ASUS logo does not light up.

    I can also confirm that the G73SW does not have a USB coffee dispenser.

    The G53 makes excellent coffee from its USB dispenser :)
    It does have a light up Asus logo on the back of the monitor, it also has a fancy cool looking Republic of Gamers emblem below "Asus" sadly the emblem doesn't light up.

    Good riddance I say! I have the G73JH and if you close the lid on it at night your bedroom will flash blue all night. On... offf... on... off... on... off... It makes you feel all stabby after a while.
