    Hello,

when I plug in speakers to my laptop, realtek drivers pops up and say: Headphones are connected.

Can I force the driver to detect speakers as speakers not headphones?

I'm using Creative T40 speakers and connecting 'em via standard jack.

You'll find it in the Creative Control App, there's a Headphones Tab

    = p

I use only a standard Realtek driver ....
I knew that sooner or later I will have to install these from creative... sniff

there is no way to change it, without installing creative drivers?

guess they changed it from when that pic was taken... I see they don't include the option window in the new drivers. How ghey. Probably needs a registry change, and I don't know it off hand.

I guess Realtek assumed you would use the Creative app to change it.
