This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    G53SW bios needed.

    Hi my asus g53sw has corrupted its bios and lost a lot of data.

    Does anybody have the full 4mb flash image.

    The following has been noticed.

    Mac address is corrupt so the realtek card is not working (yellow triangle in system hardware).
    Keyboard Back-light is lost and not even the keys are showing in the on screen display like before.

    Is their anyway to flash a backup from another laptop like mine.
    A full backup would be nice to fix my problem i have.
    as i really need the internal network working like before.
