    Hello...
    I just upgraded the CPU and Ram in my G53Sw-A1. Went from the stock processor i7-2630QM to i7-2720QM and upgraded the RAM from 8 to 16GB. Everything is fine except both Windows and the Bios only show 8GB. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. Any ideas???? Thanks!!!

    What RAM did you buy, and how many modules did you replace or install?

    I replaced all 4 modules with 4 modules of Kingston HyperX 1600 MHz. 4Gb each.

    load one at a time and check in the bios to make sure each are being read.
