Hi, I have recently been getting a huge load of BSODs off my recently bought laptop (around 4-5 months ago) which is an ASUS G53Sw 3D. I can only understand that the causes are hal.dll and something else that i'm not quite sure of. Regardless, I have no idea how to fix this. Please do help. Below are the specs of my laptop and below that are the blue screen details that I've gotten off Blue Screen Viewer. Please Help!
ASUS G53 Sw 3D:
Intel Core i7 2630QM 2.0 Ghz (upto 2.9ghz Turbo Boost), 6MB L3 Cache
Win 7 Home Premium
8GB DDR3 Ram
NVIDIA GTX 460M 1.5GB
650GB SATA 5krpm
Bluray DVD Combo
Atheros Wireless Card
Realtek LAN Card
etc.
Attached are the details of the BSOD (taken via BlueScreenViewer)
Please please please Help!

Duffed, thanks for posting the BSV attachment! In Windows 7 getting BlueScreen error, Bug Check Code : 0x00000124 - Microsoft Answers
This thread seems to point to a hardware issue. -
Hi JOSEA, Thanks for the quick reply! Is there any specific method to find out the root of this problem? It's been going on for months now, at least a few BSOD's a day if you read the txt file.
The link you gave me suggests performing a hardware diagnostic to be done, not entirely sure where to start from there.. any pointers? Thanks in advance -
Sure, I have read good things about everest, but apparently it has morphed into this:
Download AIDA64 Extreme Edition (EVEREST) 2.00.1714 Beta / 2.00.1700 Free Trial - Streamlined Windows diagnostics, benchmarking and hardware monitoring software - Softpedia
I am downloading the Trial version now, and will do some testing, I am having some minor issues myself. I will post back tomorrow with more info on this program. -
I take it that you posted on the wrong thread haha, well if anyone got an idea about this please let me know on getting this fixed, much thanks!
