    Hi guys,
    i had an another thread in this forum regarding this kind of problem but couldn't find it. anyway, i had my portable hdd (WD My Passport Essential SE) connected when laptop woke up itself. day before yesterday i left the laptop in sleep mood with that hdd connected and found back the laptop in sleep mood. but since today laptop keeps waking up itself. can someone sort this issue out please? i think many people are experiencing this problem.

    You might want to check your BIOS or in the actual power settings itself and see if you have the 'Wake by USB' checked.

    where in power setting i can find this option?

    The option should be located in the advanced options of the powerplan settings. I'm not sure where it would be located in the bios.
