What's up peeps, anyone with the 3d version of either the g51,g73,g53 or people with knowledge.

I know that the a1 version without the 3d comes at full 1080p HD compared to the 3d, but if i do get the g53jw-3d, will it still allow me to play it at a resolution/performance same as the non 3d a1 version? I mean the reason i'm askin this is if i do get the a1 then i know for a fact i won't have the option for 3d if i feel like using it, but if i do get the 3d version, is there like an option where i can turn off the 3d view and use the regular mode?

Or is buying 3d version of it will only force you to play it at 3d only?

Nope. the native res for g53jw-3de is 1366x768.
That is the max resolution for both 2D and 3D.

I have the G73JW-3DE and I have played several games in 3D Full 1080P HD and I have also turned it off and played. If you have the money and can find one get the G73JW-3DE.
