How is the bestbuy model? I have heard the that is the budget 460m but does that matter with the 720p screen? And how does that i5 hold up to gaming? I heard that it is faster than the i7 720qm is that true?

hmm, I dont know if it is valid for g53sw but the 3d Version of g53jw has a really nice 720p, 120 Hz, 3D panel.

I've been looking to buy a Laptop as well. The JH versions doesn't have the sandy bridge on it. That sets you a year back in processor technology IMO. I would suggest just running your games at a lower resolution. Even if it is a full HD screen. I doubt running it a couple resolutions lower will make it look any different than having a lower res native screen.

460 should be able to handle a lot of games at 1080p, if your looking for lower res, and sacrificing some processor performance, and an alternative graphics card which in some cases is better then the 460 check out the ASUS G Series G73JH-BST7, with a bigger 17" screen, at 950$ think it's a steal.
