i have an ASUS ROG G60JX, which has:

    I5 Processor
    4 gig ram
    500gb HDD
    geforce gts360m 1gb

i was on Monday morning. played a little bit of World of Warcraft, a little web browsing. then i turned it off like normal and left for the beach. i come back on Tuesday night. Turn it back on...login and when it gets to the welcome. it never logs in. just stays hung up

So i look into it and determine im gonna wipe it clean....i go to install from the ASUS Partition install....and it installs but when it setsup windows it gets hung up on finalizing your files and never installs. so i installed teh OEM from Windows website and it works....but it runs reallllly slow. i cant do much of anything. 1 thing at a time. like sometimes i go to empty recycle bin and it takes forever for the menu to pop up when i right click.

I have a image ATTACHED of a HDD Error on a health scan, the BOTTOM error warning says 30 unstable sectors....im not sure if this is definetly the problem. Memory diagnostic test show the memory is ok

Hello, my name is Scott, I'm with the Asus Customer Loyalty team.

I was thinking before you even got to the diagnostic report you mentioned that it sounded like a HDD failure. So, I would suggest you give our support line a call and go through the process of setting up an RMA. In the US/Canada you can call: 1-888-678-3688

If you need anything additional later, send me a PM or email with the RMA number, and I'll see what I can manage. [email protected]
