I will write step by step all attempts to fix video card problem.
1. 2 month ago colored lines and dots appeared on screen. The issue was with videocard. Also A long time ago HDMI port stopped working.
2. I disassembled laptop and baked VC in oven. For a week lines and dots disappeared. then it started again and day after annoying lines grew in amount. And I baked it to death. Laptop did not boot.
3. Before I googled for VC to buy new one. And I was wrong in searching by model, not by part number. I found new VC on ebay and ordered.
4. When I received card and it was in factory packed antistatic package with no signed of external damage.
5. I installed it. And here is new problems happened:
a. Screen does not switch on (I checked many times if cables are plugged in and I have not damaged any cable. I have experience in dissembling laptops)
b. cooler's fan spins as fast as it can.
6. Laptop boots, HDMI and VGA work. But when I connect to TV via HDMI and run e.g. firefox nvlddmkm.sys stops responding and after 5-10 balloon messages BSOD with error nvlddmkm.sys 0x00000116
7. I updated laptop BIOS to 208. reinstall and remove nvidia drivers. No changes, still the same. Also checked cpu and gpu temperature and it is 32-34C and 37-42 respectively
8. I contacted Asus support and they cannot help me.
Now my suspicion is VBIOS. my VBIOS version is 70.15.39.00.04.0N390200.01
Q1. What is the tool used to backup and restore vbios?
Q2. To G60Jx owners. Could you backup and share you vbios version if it is differs from mine?
thanks in advance!

Edit: G60JX's BIOS contains 2 vbios, 10DE:0CB1 and 10DE:0CA9, however the Device ID in the 10DE:0CA9 is still 0CB1. And both are for GTS 360M. Both VBIOS version are 70.15.39.00.04. And there's nothing after.04.
Can you please post the full hardware ID of your card? It's in the device manager, not the info showed in GPU-Z. Just making sure the card was originally made by ASUS. -

Flashing is best carried out under Dos mode. If you don't know how to flash a vbios, follow this guide: Guide to Video BIOS flashing | techPowerUp
Also try to use the latest version of nvflash like 5.117 for Dos. And remember always back up the original vbios before flashing.
You can use nvflash -b filename.rom to back up and nvflash filename.rom to flash. -
hackness,
But K43SM has geforce GT 630M. and is it compatable with GTS 360M? -

I tried and it does not work.
can the problem be in my version of DOS? I use DOS in Hiren's BootCD on USB stick. -
However you can still try older nvflash like 5.91 or 5.95, but I doubt it'll work.
Since it's already been flashed when you flashed G60JX bios 208, the card still isn't working (As if you have already tried reassigning the main display in nvidia control panel), I suspect the card was defected since the start. -
where did you get BIOS 211? On official site it is only 208. Can I have it?

yes you are right that VBIOS is integrated into the BIOS. I downgraded BIOS and VBIOS downgraded too. I will restore clean OS and see what happens. Also I don't understand if it is possble that HDMI works but not built-in screen.

No it doesn't. The screen even not blinks when usually turn on laptop or PC. In OS there is problem with nvlddmkm.sys
Unfortunately I cannot return card back. -
For G73JW series they have 3 motherboard revisions: 1.0, 2.0, 3.1 and each of them have a different built-in display port, 50 pins for 1.0 and 3.1(2 internal display ports and support 3D), 40 pins for 2.0. And the screen connector is different for each motherboard, however you can use the GTX460M with different GPU board revision and still work. But for G60JX I'm not sure, either the card is defected or the output type is different to the old one you have. -
Thank you hackness!
I appreciate your help. I will try different drivers. anyway I can use laptop as expansive torrent client or file server -
Update for thread:
Can power failure (wrong voltage) cause a BSOD nvlddmkm.sys 0x0116? Maybe old video card has broken something on motherboard? -
