    G60Jx with an ATI Video Card?

    is it possible to swith out the Nvidia card on the Asus G60Jx (BestBuy) and replace it with an ATI Video Card from like the G73 from Best buy? I think this would be cool.

    The g73 has a bigger footprint than the gtx260/gts360 ...

    mxm cards should be the same though. i would look for an asus model on ebay. "people" say asus makes their own cards are they are different from reference.

    that is why i thought of ordering one directly from asus or one off ebay from a g73 that is a best buy version.

    Good point, but the g73 vbios is on the card, right? And I Don't think the g60 260gtx/360gts uses an on-card vbios, which is why they're such a pain to switch around.

    Then again, my information source is "people".
