G60VX-RB009 upgrade to G73 worth it?

My wife has the G72 also. I have the G60. My G60 has the 2.5ghz cpu and 6gb ram, and the Nvidia 240M video or whatever. Why am I thinking about selling my G60 to buy a G73? Mostly because of the newer CPU I guess. And I think the video is a lot better also. Still, I dont really use my laptops for gaming, I have a high end PC for that. I bought the Alienware M11X a week ago and then returned it because it just wasnt powerful enough overall.

Probably a waste of money when i already have a G60, right? Dunno if I could still get $600 locally for it anymore either.

If you don't use your laptops for gaming, CAD, or video encoding, then I'd personally say it isn't worth it.The G60VX is still a fine notebook. Plus, have your desktop for your more high end stuff.
