I've got a G60jx with a nividia 360 gpu processor I am using the hdmi out to hook into a 21 in monitor. When i play games such as the mass effect trilogy the temps run about 100-102 C consistently. Outside of games it runes anywhere from 75 C - 85 C. At what temperatures should i start be concerned about heat.

It seems to run hotter with hdmi plugged in than when using the laptop by itself. problem is Ive gotten used to playing on the bigger monitor and at 1920x1080.

I have it sitting on a 3 fan laptop cooler. and i have a seperate fan blowing underneath the laptop cooler.

Any advice, or guidance would be appreciated how to handle the heat and when i should start getting concerned.

Those temps are a fair bit too hot. In games, even at 100% usage constantly you shouldn't see much above 90C. Maybe a repaste is in order, it isn't too hard to do and if it fails you can do it again until you get it right. Before that you could try blowing out the air ducts with compressed air, lots of dust should come out. Has the laptop always run this hot?
