I have a G60vx and from time to time I've been having trouble with games and maya crashing and giving me the message driver so and so has stopped responding and has recovered blah blah.

Now with the newest patch around oct 15th which I had installed to stop it. I'm getting the crashes all the time! Even with Google earth. I measured Starcrap II with speed fan and according to it the temp in the GPU topped out at 85C. So I dunno whats wrong.

I removed visible dust around the fan and I cut a hole in the case but the crashes keep happening.

    Card is 260M GTX
    windows 7

Is your card overheating? See the sticky for some utilities you can use to monitor temperatures.
