I have a Best Buy version of the G73 that does not include bluetooth. I was planning on dropping a Intel 5300 wireless card, but would also like to add internal bluetooth. Does anybody know if there is a way to do so?

There is, there's an internal bluetooth card you can put it.

There was a thread here about it somewhere.

That's a poor way to include a link to a post. For just one example, you see 72 pages, I see 25 pages for the same thread. So, as the thread continues to grow it ends up sending people on a wild goose chase.

Here is your link corrected, click here.

This is what G73Jh's bluetooth module looks like:

Asus usually don't sell the parts for their new models right away on eStore, but you can maybe wait for a month or two to check on Asus eStore.

I already had the 5300 from a previous notebook. The 5300 is half height as well... and I assume with the 2 antennas coming off of it, it would perform similar to a 5200. Ok.. so that good to know about the bluetooth. I CAN do it.. its just not availble yet.

it actually is available from Asus EU, their store has the part, think it's $18 euro plus shipping. I plan to order it soon myself.

Also, curious, why are you swapping the wireles card? Is there an advantage to the Intel card versus what's in it now?

Actually, I have no idea. I didnt recognize the card that was already installed, so it may be similar to the 5300. I just figured I know the 5300 is decent, I have it.. and the drivers are regularly updated.
