hi guys, a question: i have read that the asus g73jh laptop with fullhd-displays uses an LED backlight system. as some might know, in my other thread i am complaining about my display being too bright and with a blue bias. my idea was the following: maybe the led backlight is active at full power all the time and this causes my display to go wild.

therefore i want to know if there is any way of checking whether the backlight is active and at which intensity. and if there is a tool to control it explicitly. ;)

FN + F5/F6 will change the brightness of the LED backlight.

It does what you specify though. The light being emitted is from the LED's.
    Unless I'm mistaken.
