Hi, i've been having some problem with my G73's battery over the past couple of days...
I started noticing that the battery was being drained even when the notebook was in off state(hibernated). If i shut off the notebook with 100%battery and then switched it off and d/c'd it from AC power, when i switched it on after a couple of hours, the battery was something like 85-90%
So, i did a complete charge-discharge cycle, then i switched off my comp, disconnected it from AC power and after a couple of hours when i switch it on, the battery is at 2% and wear level is 58%..
So i discharged it again till it switched off, then when i turned it on, battery was at 33% and wear=27%, then repeated above step, charge=17%,wear=8%

finally now the charge is 1% and wear=5.1%(the same as it was before). Am letting the battery charge upto 100% again and will then test whether it still loses charge in off state..

What about if you take it off ? If it discharges when it is off, it is the battery, if it discharges when connected it could be the laptop

Well it seems to be working fine now after another complete discharge-recharge cycle. It isnt draining on its own, giving fine backup and wear level is holding at 5%..
