I've been searching the interwebs extensively as this game ran like crap on my unit (judging from all the forums I've visited, even top of the line PCs would have issues with this game due to awful console porting). With these settings, I have Bulletstorm running at max settings, 1080p, AA off, @ 40-50+ FPS. The config files are located in: C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\My Games\BulletStorm\StormGame\Config. Back up that folder, and extract the files I've attached and see the performance/stuttering difference. Let me know how it goes.

really? My BB model runs it at about 45-55fps with 2x AA just fine. If this gives more performance then sign me up!

    Hmm..worth a shot I guess.

Bulletstorm ran like crap for me even with AA off.

EDIT: Still haven't got around to trying this..Dragon Age II is keeping me busy lol

It's really weird with the G73s. My friend's ran it 5-10 FPS higher than mine, after the performance tweak, at 1080p, I run 5 FPS higher than his does. I don't think all G73s are made the same. Heh. Give it a shot though. See how it runs. The field of vision has been changed from 85 to 95 as well, making the game feel a little more natural (to me at least). Try it and let me know how it works for you. Just make sure to back up your config JUST in case.

For me Bulletstorm runs like a cream at 55-60 fps, 1080p every think max out with 11.2 and stock clocks from first day. I don't understand why people here with the same unit (most JH models) are having different performances with the same games. For example for j00zl33t crysis 2 runs almost perfect at in hardcore, but for me only in gamer is enjoyable.

Even after I tried this fix, bulletstorm runs like crap...1600x900 no AA high settings gets in between 26-30 fps. It is playable and the game is very fun but I wish it could take full advantage of the 5870m (it obviously isn't lol). I also am seeing some weird artifacts on the sides of the screen at certain points. I was playing at stock clocks and the GPU got to about 70 degrees C so I know its not overheating. I've linked some images to show it...and also if anyone else is having this problem.

It's a big mystery to me as well. My Crysis ran terribly as well... I guess I have the worst of both worlds -.- Hope these improve the game for SOMEONE though.

Phnx, what settings do you have in the Catalyst Control Center's Gaming/3D application settings? These can greatly affect game-play fps.
