    Hello all,

I had thought I'd fixed all my problems by going to use ASUS drivers to fix my G73 and play games normally, after a day of playing normally and watching movies without a hitch, etc...

Now I have color bleeding all over. What should be white is now a light blueish with white spots all over text or random areas of the screen, and I can see this light blue even with the asus bootup screen on the logo. The asus tech suggested an RMA - is there no other way?

I know it got fixed before on its own. I've stress tested the videocard with furtest and such, no problems, this just came back on its own.

    Thoughts?

It could just be the poor screen in the best buy version. The AUO screen.

I went with Amazon in the end, so I have the 1920x1080 screen from the A2, plus I did get terrible FPS and a crash while this was ongoing in a game, so I guess it IS RMA time :(

Did you try manually adjusting the color?

Yeah, it's not so much bleeding as flickering in the background and a bluish green tinge across any whites, with slight white lines inbetween, so it was likely a videocard error. It was present even in the ASUS logo at boot.

It became worse because game performance was crippled and ATI Catalyst stopped working altogether, so...

I have sent it to the RMA facility now in Indiana, hopefully they send it back soon (and fixed).

    Ah well.
