Does the Creative Audigy HD MB package 1.0 have a affect in the sounds of the g73 because i have fresh installed my os and thinking if I would use chastities new audio driver and wont have creative or use the old driver and have the creative software.

IMO that if i use the creative software I would hear the bass better. am i right?

The sound quality is based on the hardware and the Realtek drivers. The Creative software adds some surround support + a bass boost option. If you do not use the Creative software, you can bass boost using Realtek's Equalizer.

Once the Realtek driver is installed, you then install the Creative application if you haven't already. If installing the Audigy HD MB, I would then follow up with the linked Win 7 update for it.

Uninstall the Realtek drivers, install the ones on your Driver CD. When done, install the Creative app, and get that working. Then you can upgrade to current Realtek.
