    ive had this baby for about a couple of weeks and after long multiple sessions of gaming with 27C ambient temps i hit low to mid 90s monitoring with gpu-z is this normal?

    and to my real question; through gpu-z ive noticed that the fans NEVER go beyond and below 30%.other people have posted that their fans go around to medium power when they hit mid to high 90's. why is this so?

    gaming on 209 bios with stock drivers :)

    I also never see my fans reach 100%, but I haven't really played any GPU intensive games lately, only WoW for a really long time.

    what games have you been playing? what temps go to low and mid 90s?

    According to people here, you're suppose to look out for the first one. In my experience, the core temp never goes beyond 89 and i max the memIO at 100

    mostly mass effect 2 and gta IV. on gpu-z i get around 90-92C on "GPU Temperature" and GPU Temp #2" these two report similar temps.gpu temp #1 and #3 are a few degrees lower.

    @kurtcocaine
    hwinfo32 reports the same thing.what do you suggest i use?

    You will find that fans will stay at 30% until temp reaches 95 then they will bump to 100%.

    GPU Temp #1 is the one you should be watching. my fans go in full blast when that reaches 83-85C

    #1: core temp
    #2: mem controller temp (around 10C higher than core temp)
    #3: shader temps, somewhere between #1 and #2

    Yep, GPU-Z and HWiNFO32 3.55 both report fan speeds of only 30% most of the time and 100% when core temp reaches around 83C, they don't report anything in between. There seems to be some problems with GPU usage reported as well, sometimes it isn't reported, sometimes it is. I should mention that i observed this while running on stock drivers.
