Has anyone actually tried a G73 into the laptop compartment of a Lowepro Fastpack 350? I have a Fastpack 250 and the laptop compartment is just a bit too small, but the 350 may work. You can't go by the advertised dimensions as they are off quite a bit. I also can't find the bag to try it locally so would have to order it just to try, so I was curious if anyone has actually attempted it? Thanks.

Would be interesting my Tamrac Aero 3380 bag advertises a 17 inch compartment and my 15.6 inch (closer to 16 since the chassis got a 16 inch screen with the G60 series) G50 barely fits into it. If the G73 is anything like the G71 in size your gonna have a bit of trouble finding a good sized bag.

I am subscribing to this because Id like to see what bag you come up with so when i replace my laptop i might get another bag for my camera gear.

i couldnt tell you anything about the fastpack 350, but i can tell you that Swissgear makes a backpack that i can fit my G73JH into. it is convenient for me as im in college and carry books around, however if i have books in it it needs a little push to get it in but still fits.

Thanks but I need something that can carry photo gear as well. I travel and want to use it as a photo bag and G73 carrier.

Yes it is. I love the Fastpack but it's just a tad too small for this darn monster laptop. At least the Fastpack 250. I guess I'll have to order the 350 and try it. Send it back if it don't work.

Not sure about the fastpack...but I've got my G73 tucked nicely in a Targus case. I'm a student and this has room for everything I carry to and from campus.

Comes with some extras as well. Has been solid so far and owned for a year.

I think were gonna need a title change lol. He is looking for a camera bag with a laptop slot. We dont throw cameras in bags they tend to break things next to em like lenses. Lowepro mostly makes photography related carriers. Unfortunatly for those that dont know there are no clues until you see the following posts.

The title of my post is very accurate; looking for someone who has tried to fit a G73 into a Lowepro Fastpack 350. That's simply the question. :)
I realize the chances are rare that anyone has tried this bag on this forum, but hey it's worth a shot. I'll know tomorrow as I just ordered the bag overnight shipping. So I'll either be returning it (as I'm expecting) or very happy!
