My g73 is about a month old and lately I have been noticing my screen doing a sort of static/grainy/fuzzy effect on certain colours and back grounds, I'm not sure if this has been here all along or I'm just noticing it now.

You have to be looking very closely to notice but I figure this should not be the case with 1080p screens a very noticeable example is on the left most side of this test image

It looks some what static-y or at least grainy where I can clearly see distinction in pixels. It becomes more noticeable in 720 or 1080p movies mostly in items in the background that are not moving as much.

My desktop background also seems to have areas of problem although it might just be the image I seem to find grainy areas of pixels everywhere now!

Am I just insane or is this a legit concern?

Also just as a note; I have updat ati CCC to 10.1 then to 10.7 doing a clean wipe before (had gsod problems) and was playing around with some settings in there I found changing the gamma helped A BIT. Have yet to do a clean install trying to wait until I order my ssd
