When using HDMI output to a Samsung 1080p, Crysis runs poorly. The screen chops every second or so. For example, for a short moment, a rectangular area of the screen is out of place during movement. I see this even on the game's startup movies. It also feels sorta laggy, though the main issue is not a lack of FPS (the issue is apparant in a given frame). This makes Crysis not quite playable IMO.

I updated to 10.6 drivers and messed around with settings so that the TV is the only active screen, but nothing has changed the problem.

I tried Dragon Age Origins and saw the problem but to a much smaller degree.

Any suggestion on how to get this playable on the big screen?

Its a shame b/c the tv output otherwise looks amazing.

Just to add one more update. I see this choppy issue to a very small degree in Crysis without running HDMI (just on laptop screen). I have settings at high with no AA.
