    Hi all,
Recently reinstalled windows to a new SSD. Had everything working great, dual monitors w/ the HDMI out and VGA out.

Was installing some windows updates, machine rebooted, and only the VGA out seems to be working in Windows.

Using the stock Asus/ATI drivers, I tried running the display detection to no avail. If I open the laptop, the built in monitor works fine.

Here's the weird thing: if I turn the laptop on with just HDMI out and no VGA connected, I don't even see a picture on my HDMI monitor during the POST like I normally would. This would seem to indicate something else is wrong.

I initially thought something with the windows update messed with the ATI drivers, but the fact that I don't see anything during POST is troubling. Anyone with similar experiences?

    Thanks!
