Recently i started hearing sounds from my G73 .
observing closely it comes form the underneath of right palm. (could mostly be the hard disk).
My primary os is in SSD(INTEL). i dont think ssd's make sound or do they?
Also noticed that the wear level on the battery is 19% from hwinfo tool. I bought it May 2010.
is the battery dying or is this normal?

I'd drain the battery completely once and then charge it full to re-calibrate and check the wear level again. 19% is normal depending on how often you use your battery and if the battery area is always warm/hot. As to you hearing noise, what kind of noise are you hearing? If it is clicking, check the Status of your Seagate HDD using CrystalDiskInfo to see if it is dying.

i normally keep the laptop plugged in with battery in it while working or gaming on my computer table.
i just ran the crystaldiskinfo . it said SSD is good (99%) but for the 320 GB hard disk just good. no percentage.
yes it is the clicking sound . -
You can try upgrading the Seagate drive's firmware here
http://forum.notebookreview.com/asu...7122-seagate-st9500420as-firmware-update.html
Just make sure when you type the command, you type it with your 320GB's model # and not the 500GB's model # (or it won't find it).
