Hey just curious I have the amd overclock tool, I tried setting the gpu to 799.99-1100, but after playing BC2 for about 5 minutes the game froze then a blue screen popped up saying something cant remember what, any way I had to reboot and clocks were reset and everything working fine again.

Now is it safe to overclock this machine? If so whats a good number to keep it at without any issues? Is overclocking unsafe for long periods of gaming?? And is it really worth overclocking? Am I going to notice a big difference?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.

Every GPU is different so start low and increase clocks slowly , don't go all balls out and OC it that high right off the bat.
    Patience ;)
Saying that there is really no need to OC this GPU since it's one if not the most single powerful card out.
Unless you want bragging rights for high synthetic benchmarks, gaming wise the FPS won't go up too much.
