    Hi guys,
this not a very recent problem, but I find it really annoying when I want to show off my G73.

The inner bottom plastic plating somehow reacts when I stroke it with cloth in order to clean it. How do I prevent it from becoming "white" ?

Also, what should I use when I clean it?

Are you referring to the fact that the rubberized surface is tacky and when you wipe it with a cloth lint form the cloth adheres to the surface and it is covered with lint?

If that is the case, use lint-free cotton cloths (like are used on cars for detailing)... They will not leave behind any lint...

... The metal inside might be reacting, if that's what he's talking about.

I know what you're talking about. I think that just happens because of the material its made of. I never really get them, but when I do, I just rub on them with my fingers until its gone.

A good coffee filter will work too because they are lint free. I used that to clean my G73 besides the screen.

the funny fact is, it is mostly only visible under proper daylight for some reason - whenever I bring it to school it is very noticeable - however; here at home it is not.

Yeah this happened to me too, a couple weeks ago I lifted up the screen and I saw what looked like fine white powder near the ROG logo on the right side of the palm rest. I was horrified that it might be permanent, but I took a lint-free cloth and water and rubbed it out. I haven't had any occurrences of this odd phenomenon since.
