The other day I turned the laptop on and when I moved the lid the lcd would go all blue then white and if I let it go it was back to normal.I thought the LCD was going bad but I think its the pressure the hindges putting on the body of the laptop was doing it(heres why)If I touch the area around the right side speaker the same thing happens ,the screen will go all blue and white then sometimes the laptop freezes.I took it apart to see if maybe a connector/cable came loose but nothing (I did do a repaste around last Sept.)With the hindge cover off I stuck some foam between the plastic case and mainboard right near the video connector and it stopped the problem when I touch that area near the speaker.Any ideas? The laptop has never been dropped or bumped hard,I always treat it like a baby.Open in the printed circuit?Bad solder on the socket for the video cable??

That's a new one on me. Seems you fixed it by using the foam to give the panel connect wire some support. If you ever have the case open, I would reseat the connector.

Thats what I did last night ,reseated all the connectors in that area on the mainboard.I wonder if its the way I pull it out of my backpack,I grab it in the center with one hand and pull it up and out.If I RMA it would it be a good idea to remove the 6300 wifi card and third antenna and put the factory card back in? Thanks
(I think putting the foam in just stopped the flexing in the mainboard and the problem still remains)
