I preordered my G73 back in january and have had it since march. Havent done much to it other than update the video card driver and windows updates. Was hoping to find out some basic cleaning and things to do to keep it well maintained. this is my first notebook so dont know a lot about what to do. thx

I like to dust mine every couple days with a brush and an air blower, I always clean out as much dust from the grill and keyboard as I can. I use the brush to get dust from under the screen since lots of it like to make camp under there. I use the air blower to blow out all the dust that likes to make camp in my vents. I use a microfiber cloth and some screen cleaner and wipe down the screen once a week so it remains spotless and I use some warm water to wipe down the top, the back and the area around the LCD. The palmrest I just dust and try to keep from touching since it wears really easy. Been spotless so far, sans one or two white specs in my grill that refuse to get out even with the jaws of life.
