So With the hundreds of post and threads about this topic I was wondering if anyone would be willing to jsut spill it out on the table in one location.
How do you overclock the g73 both cpu and gpu to give you better results.
I have stock video drivers (10.3 I think and stock vbios) I never had any issues with gsod or bsod.
I am also on stock bios.
If everything was in one central place I think it would help a lot of people.

good idea...but since you made this thread and your on stock everything and have had no issues.....why may I ask do you want to OC?
-
Well personally I've edited my vBios to run at 880/1050 @ 1.15v stock instead of 625/1000 @ 1v and downloaded AMD GPU clock tool to edit it even further when necessary. I can get around 905/1125 relatively stable, but I like to keep the temps below 75C.
Personally, I would first download AMD GPU clock tool and tinker with that a bit, try to keep the ram speeds below 1200 and the GPU speed below 850 at first, but once you've go the hang of it you can tinker w/ it even more. Once you're ready for the next level, I suggest finding out how to edit the vBios. -
AMD GPU Clock Tool v0.9.26.0 For HD 5870 download from Guru3D.com for GPU
SetFSB_HomePage for CPU (requires 5 dollar donation)

Admit it, this has nothing to do with "helping a lot of people", this is just you being lazy -
No this has everything to do with trying to centralize the OC threads into one location versus reading 5 threads all with 250 pages.
I want to OC fpr gaming increases. I am not into bench marking. -
