    G73 Power adapter problem?

    Lately I noticed the G73 stays in battery mode even when the AC adapter is plugged into the laptop unless I turn and align the plug connecting to the laptop the right way. A slight move and it goes into battery mode.

    Is this a problem with the power adapter or a more serious problem with the laptop itself?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Could be that the plug on your power adapter is cracked, in which case you'd only need a replacement.

    However, the worse alternative is that the power receptacle on your laptop has become loose, which would require an RMA to fix.
