    G73 Spacebar Issue

    I just got my G73 from Bestbuy and was wondering if the Spacebar is angled (Being higher and stiffer towards the bottom direction) on all of them....or is mine defective?

    My space bar is slightly stiffer when pressed towards the screen and loser towards the front. That is to say, there is a tiny bit more play across the front. However, it sits level with the other keys.

    Mine isn't...

    My space bar is angled and propped up just like all my other keys.

    Can you press the bottom part of the space bar down?

    well it seems to be doing fine now after i have used it for awhile i guess i just needed to be loosenend up a bit!

    Hopefully that is how the touch pad buttons work too, cause they are stiff as stone right now. :D

    Yea the touchpad buttons are hard as hell and when i put my palm next to the touchpad it makes a clicky noise as if i was bending it a bit..I wonder if i should return it for another G73 or is this normal...

    Sorry about your luck man, but, I have had mine for a little while and they have stayed exactly the same. However, only my right click is plagued with stiffness.

    Well I talked to another G73 user over at overclock.net and said his spacebar is a little angled as well.

    Well I went to BB today and returned it and to got a new one ....and the spacebar is SOOO much better now!
