Has anyone removed the intel core, windows 7, ati, eax and asus series sticker in your g73? because my stickers are starting to get peeled specially the eax sticker and its really annoying me.
If i would want to remove it can i peel it off completely and how? I don't want something to be left or get it messed up.
-
They can be peeled off fairly easy. Any debris they leave can be removed with acetone on a swab without too much effort.
-
Mine are all still there because I never use the keyboard or trackpad. I carry an external kybd and mouse with me for my mobile gaming.

For real? Glad I'm not alone
I don't use my KB for games that needs a lot of KB to avoid frequently pressing it too hard (games like CoD2:MW2, H.A.W.X.). I use a USB KB instead, except for SC2 which uses mouse most of the time.

this thread was started before
i actually added 3 more

the third one is when you open the laptop on the right side bellow the specc (My name) -
Indeed you are not alone. When I sell my PCs or Macs the laptops are very very clean because I never use the keyboards. I too type and press hard and don't want my laptops to take my abuse.

WOW. More pics!

actually there are silver stickers on the sides too(don't know if you can see them)
i will post the inside sticker in a few minutes

Ok thanks, i think i'm gonna peel it off to have a more stealthy look >
hahahaha and the ROG emblem beside the sticker of mine is barely visible anymore and even at my mouse haha!

Same here, my ROG logo at the mouse has already faded completely, probably caused my frequently gaming with that mouse for hours and also due to sweating of palm
But my ROG logo at the right side of the palm rest is still superb and shiny
never touched it actually.

Does any1 kno of a protector/sticker than covers the entire front of the laptop? (all around the keyboard and around trackpad)
mite jan where did u get that rog symbol logo sticker? -
JehutyZeroshift Notebook Evangelist
Like the one on MacBooks? I don't think there are existing protectors ATM. The only thing that I can think of is letting your beast undergo a skin wrapping like this one GMASK PROMO -
I removed the big sticker on the right side and nothing left. If somethings is still stickin on the pad, tap the sticker few times and it will stick on it.
ehh?................ -
let me explain how i did my stickers (didn't bought them/home production))
first i made the logo and the text how i wanted my laptop to look like
then i went to photo studio and they've made me a photography (so that's a standard photography on a glossy paper) NON STICKY
after that i've cut the photography (sticker) and i have a strong sticky paper from both sides
first sticky side goes to the photography
second sticky side goes to the laptop
get it?
and btw it is hard to unpeal them
hope everyone understands me -
If I remove the sticker the warranty wont be voided right?
Edit* For other people that might ask about this question, The warranty would not be voided.
I have remove my sticker because it was peeling away so I removed it and stick it in a wooden box

Of course not.
-
I also took off my EAX sticker, But i left the other ones. HAHA! 3 pinoys here!
-
I never remove stickers unless they're worn out.
They're nice decorations
-
I brought iphone mat screen protector stickers. Cut it nicely to fill the gaps (Didn't remove original stickers). Now I don't have to bother about wear marks.
BTW I already ordered new replacement KB for notebook. If something goes wrong I'm gonna replace it. -

Yeah, they look like badges portraying the awesomeness of our beast
-
But if you remove it you'll make your rig more stealthy!B-) hahaha, and theres a protector for the keyboard search google for TPU G73.
