Ive reinstalled thousand different synaptic drivers. Ive messed with TP setting. It got to the point were Ive even considered RMA. Well after troubleshooting like hell i actually found something useful.
Heres a fix that works 100% for me. The reason why its called a temp-fix is because I have to do it everytime I reboot the laptop. Anyway its very simple.
When your TP starts to act up, navigate to Task Manager > Processes and look for "SynTPHelper.exe"
Kill it...then wait 5-10 seconds. Voila! Insta-fix!
Ive done this numerous time today and it worked everytime. Upon killing the process, TP will react normally. Now, the process will start up again automatically after a set period, but you wont have anymore issues even with it on...!

I could write you an app to kill that process say a minute after bootup or less if you desire, actual time varies by how long it takes windows to launch the process killer app. That way its doing it for you. It would need for the process to kill to be running which is why the wait time. The app can wait for the process to appear if need be.
Question is how about after a sleep resume do you have issues? If so you would want the app to run in the background and listen for power management changes.
Im not gonna do it this second but id give it a shot in 24 hours if you like. If the G73 ever gets added to the InDirect Console support list the fix would be added to the fix panel. -
Ok well after a bit of time, i got a bit paranoid with Syntphelper.exe so I just deleted it and backed it up.
so basically follow this;
Go to task manager and end process of Syntphelper.exe
Right click on SyntpEnh.exe and choose 'open file location'
cut 'Syntphelper.exe' and paste it anywhere else as a backup.
problem solved.
